Immediate warning and notification is crucial to avoiding property damage or bodily injury in the event of fire. It's for this reason we provide commercial customers with Honeywell Fire-Lite alarm systems, one of the finest in the industry. We can design, install, service, inspect, and monitor your system to make sure it's working properly. When seconds matter, you can count on the reliability of a Fire-Lite fire alarm.

A fire alarm system relies on proper operation of its connected telephone lines to reliably communicate alarm signals to the monitoring center. Proper transmission of these signals is critical when you need it most. Additionally, the commercial fire alarm life safety code requires that the fire alarm system send test signals to the monitoring center on a daily basis to indicate it's online and operating properly.
We want to inform you about the new type of telephone service and the impact it has on your fire alarm system. Commonly referred to as "VoIP" (Voice over Internet Protocol) digital telephone service, this technology allows you to make telephone calls via a broadband internet connection. This replaces your traditional plain old telephone service "POTS" telephone line.
There are several important things to consider before making the decision to use VoIP digital telephone service:
Cellular transmission of fire alarm signals to the monitoring center will eliminate the need for telephone lines and improves the reliability of your fire alarm system.
We encourage you to check with us before making any changes to your existing telephone service. If you have already switched to VoIP digital telephone service, it is extremely important that you contact us.

The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA 72) code requires that a commercial fire alarm be inspected once a year to ensure proper operation. Falco will test and inspect your fire detection devices and the alarm control panel. This testing ensures the fire detection devices are working properly, the control panel is communication with the monitoring center, and proper operation of the audible / visual devices for notifying the building occupants of a fire. Check the date on the fire alarm control panel inspection tag to be sure it's in compliance. If you need to schedule a fire alarm inspection contact us.
